 Honeybees Spotlight: TaylorAnne By: Hornets.com | August 31, 2011 Year as a Honeybee: First. Previous dance experience: I started dance with all-star competitor dance/cheer teams in junior high, and in high school did spirit line cheer team my freshman and sophomore year. My junior and senior year I was captain of the dance company. My professional dance career came in handy when I was 18 starting with dancing for the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Phoenix Coyotes and New Orleans Voodoo. What I love about being a Honeybee: I love the new relationships I can build with my teammates, as well as getting more familiar with Hornets fans and being part of the best fans in the NBA! What I love about dancing: I love making others smile and feeling my exact energy when I'm dancing! Dancing is the best expression! What I love about New Orleans: I love that my roots are from here but I wasn’t born here! I have so much family here and that’s why I moved here and me moving here is such a positive change! NOLA is the best city in the country! What I love to do when I’m not performing with the Honeybees: I love to work! Time is money and I’m always on the go and making moves. I love all my jobs and enjoying what I do for a living! |
