What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I never really settled on one in particular. At various times it was a professional soccer player, a doctor, or a CIA agent.
What is your favorite basketball movie?
Mighty Ducks II (apparently there is a basketball scene)
What is your favorite place to eat in Fort Wayne?
JK O'Donnell's - the food is good, and the craic (fun) is too.
If you were a baseball player, what would be your introduction song as you came up to bat?
Hit Me With Your Best Shot
If you could choose one player from any time period to play for the Mad Ants for one game who would you choose?
This is an obvious choice. The person I would choose to play for the Mad Ants is Jeff Potter. We could give him some coaching responsibilities too, and then Fort Wayne would have its own Jackie Moon!
Describe the most memorable sporting event that you have attended?
Notre Dame football vs. USC in 2005 - The buildup to the game was something else. Someone taped pictures of the USC football team (Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart mostly) all over the campus sidewalks to inspire the team to 'stomp on' the Trojans. When the Irish stepped out of the tunnel in their green jerseys, I think we all knew it would be a good game.
My dream vacation would be...
Good views and a good book.
Which Fort Wayne festival do you enjoy the most? Johnny Appleseed Festival, Three Rivers Festival, Germanfest, or Ribfest. And why?
The Three Rivers Festival - it brings everybody downtown, and it ends with a fireworks show. Few things make me as happy and excited as a good fireworks show.
If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Jimmy Fallon- he can throw a pencil at me after we eat.
What is your athletic claim to fame?
I played in Notre Dame's Bookstore Basketball tournament, the world's largest outdoor 5 on 5 tournament. I played one year with the ND gymnastics club team. We wore leotards.
What do you enjoy most about working for the Mad Ants/D-League?
Every day is different- I never know what to expect, but few things surprise me anymore.
